One of the things I have learned this summer is how horrible I am at updating my website! Since my last update, a lot of amazing things have happened!
First, our 2021-2022 Bible school students graduated! They had spent the last 9 or so months off and on learning how in depth about the Bible and graduated with a diploma in ministry! We had 19 attend our graduation service and over 30 join us for the first week of bible school 2022-2023. I am also attending and helping with bible school which has taught me so much!
We had a team from TN who comes every year to build a church and continue to minister to villages that we have taken teams to. To my surprise, the village that was getting the church built was one that I ministered to the first-time last year. It was so sweet to be back and see some familiar faces. Belita and I were able to sit down with all the ladies one day as they were all cooking and watching the church being built, and I got to ask them questions about their life, they asked me questions about mine and we just got to be in fellowship with each other and it was so sweet.
Smaller story time. I had the opportunity to go to two different villages to preach on the same weekend, and I knew which village I had wanted to go to. But God had other plans. I wanted to go to the Kataba which is a village that I am familiar with, but I continued to feel in the Spirit that I needed to go to Kalonga. So, I went and knew I needed to preach on purity. If you know my testimony, you know how thrilled I was to talk about this! This isn’t sarcasm, I love talking about how God completed changed and restored my life and how good He is! At the end of the sermon, it was so evident to see why I was supposed to be in that village instead of the one I selfishly wanted to go to. I left feeling so encouraged!
Then, it was just a lot of getting ready to come back to the states and I made it home safely! I had a few minor hiccups as in attacks from the enemy, but God is still good.
AND!!!! Just as fast as it came, I am headed out again! I am headed to Ecuador to minister to the people of Cuenca. Please be with me prayerfully as I will be in a new city and ministry for the whole month of November.
God is doing miracles and I am so honored to witness them firsthand!
