Home for the Holidays!

Hello everyone! I have arrived back in the states about 2 weeks ago from my month long trip to Cuenca, Ecuador! I am gonna try to post more pictures and captions and less blogging for this blog at least!

Here is an update from the Christian school I was sharing devotionals and salvation messages at... this big group of teenagers ALL decided to give their lives to the Lord! In the end, around 50 kids total got saved while I was there!

To the right, is a group of high school girls I got to hang out with a few times. They were so interested in hearing about all the adventures in Africa. It was sweet to be able to give them advice on their studies as many of them want to go into medical professions and share with them my story!

I basically got adopted by the Capaldi family the past month and it was the biggest blessing! I got to celebrate Thanksgiving and serve alongside with them. It was great to hear stories from when Lauren and Bob first moved to Cuenca, over 30 years ago!

Below, was our family night on the

town with the cathedral behind us!

Look how beautiful this view was on the way home! My driver was great, but I was glad I took my motion sickness medicine! Ecuador was such a treat, and I know I will be back one day!

Thank you all for the prayers and support!! Reflecting back, I grew and learned a lot this trip. It made me realize how important a good community that supports you is (which I knew!!) but I relied a lot on the Capaldi's and the Angulo's for their car, home and friends for almost all my time. I am so thankful!

I am able to spend the holidays with both sides of my family and for that I am so grateful and excited! To end with some more exciting news..... I will be returning to Zambia to volunteer/work again with Trail Missions! Currently, I am the Director of Communications, so all mission teams and leaders, I have been talking to and getting us ready for our 2023 trips! So, the updates will continue to come as I will be there from the middle of January until the fall of 2023!!

A few prayer requests until the next update: I am still needing to fundraise for my time in Zambia, so prayers for provision would be so helpful for me! Next, please pray for Trail Missions and all of the ministry that we will be doing in 2023! And, pray for the ministry work the Capaldi/Angulo family is doing in Ecuador! Lastly, I pray for all of you to have such a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's! Thank you again for the prayers and support!

Happy Holidays and sending so much love!

Amanda

Hi Virgil! You can donate either through my link with Living Streams which is here https://app.securegive.com/LivingStreams/missions/donate/category and click the “ZE 22” or donate this link that goes through Trail Missions https://donorbox.org/amanda-stinnett-missionary-fund . Both of them go directly to me, one just goes through the church and one goes through the organization!
